Kab. Malang (MAN 1 Malang) – MAN 1 Malang kembali menggelar acara akbar Adiwiata Day dan World Clean Up Day sebagai bagian dari langkah nyata dalam menjaga kelestarian lingkungan. Acara yang mengusung tema “Make Rooms For Life (Bebersih Memberikan Ruang Bagi Kehidupan” ini melibatkan seluruh siswa, guru, dan staf untuk berpartisipasi dalam berbagai kegiatan edukatif dan aksi kebersihan massal.
Acara dimulai dengan mmateri pertama yang disampaikan oleh seorang dokter spesialis paru dari RSI. Dengan tema “Bahaya dan Penyebab Penyakit Paru-Paru”, materi ini memberikan pengetahuan kepada siswa tentang pentingnya menjaga kesehatan paru-paru dan menghindari paparan polusi udara serta kebiasaan buruk yang merugikan kesehatan.
Dilanjutkan dengan Materi II yang mengangkat topik “Nilai Gizi Hasil Tani & Bahaya Makanan Junk Food serta Bahaya Bahan Berbahaya B3”. Materi ini disampaikan oleh dokter spesialis gizi yang juga berasal dari RSI, dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran peserta didik akan pentingnya pola makan sehat dan bahaya dari konsumsi makanan cepat saji serta bahan kimia berbahaya.
Tak hanya tentang kesehatan, Dinas Lingkungan Hidup (DLH) Kabupaten Malang juga memberikan sosialisasi tentang sampah dan lingkungan. Para peserta didik diberi pemahaman mengenai dampak negatif sampah terhadap lingkungan dan pentingnya memilah serta mengelola sampah dengan benar.
Pada puncak acara Adiwiata Day, berbagai kegiatan seru digelar, salah satunya adalah Lomba Plating Polopendem & Polowijo. Setiap kelas diwajibkan mengajukan tiga perwakilan untuk berpartisipasi dalam lomba ini. Peserta diberi waktu 30 menit untuk menyusun bahan-bahan lokal, seperti polo pendem dan polo wijo, dalam tampilan yang kreatif dan menarik. Kriteria penilaian lomba ini meliputi kerapian, kebersihan, kreativitas, dan ketepatan waktu.
Selain lomba plating, peserta didik juga terlibat dalam aksi nyata melalui kegiatan bersih-bersih massal di seluruh area madrasah. Dipimpin oleh koordinator Pokja, seluruh siswa membersihkan kelas, taman, dan lingkungan sekitar sekolah. Aksi ini merupakan bagian dari World Clean Up Day, gerakan global yang mengajak warga MAN 1 Malang untuk memungut sampah dan menjaga kebersihan lingkungan Madrasah.
Setelah bersih-bersih massal, dilakukan penimbangan dan penyetoran sampah dari masing-masing kelas. Hasil dari penimbangan sampah ini menjadi bagian dari penilaian dalam lomba kebersihan yang berlangsung selama tiga hari, mulai dari Rabu hingga Jumat. Tim Penilai Adiwiyata MAN 1 Malang menilai kebersihan kelas, termasuk teras, lantai, jendela, meja, kursi, dan perlengkapan kelas lainnya. Selain itu, aspek kelengkapan kelas seperti struktur kelas, tata tertib, dan jadwal piket juga menjadi bagian dari penilaian.
Setiap kelas berkompetisi dengan semangat tinggi, namun tetap menjaga kebersihan dan kerjasama dalam melaksanakan seluruh kegiatan. Peraturan lomba yang ketat memastikan tidak ada peserta yang meminjam anggota dari kelas lain, serta setiap peserta diwajibkan menjaga kebersihan area sepanjang acara berlangsung.
Dalam sambutannya, Kepala MAN 1 Malang, Ahmad Musthofa, M.Pd, mengungkapkan kebanggaannya terhadap partisipasi aktif seluruh siswa dalam kegiatan ini. “Acara ini bukan hanya sekadar lomba, tetapi juga langkah konkret dalam menumbuhkan kesadaran lingkungan sejak dini. Saya berharap, semangat menjaga kebersihan dan kelestarian alam ini dapat terus tumbuh di hati kalian, tidak hanya di lingkungan sekolah, tetapi juga di luar sana,” ujarnya dengan penuh semangat.
Salah satu siswa yang berpartisipasi dalam lomba, Syahron Sholihawati, dari kelas X-E, menyampaikan kesannya, “Saya sangat senang bisa ikut serta dalam Adiwiyata Day ini. Tidak hanya mendapatkan pengetahuan baru tentang kesehatan dan lingkungan, tapi juga belajar bekerja sama dengan teman-teman dalam menjaga kebersihan. Semoga ke depan, kita bisa semakin peduli terhadap lingkungan.”
Adiwiata Day dan World Clean Up Day 2024 di MAN 1 Malang berlangsung sukses. Acara ini tidak hanya mendidik para siswa tentang kesehatan dan kebersihan lingkungan, tetapi juga mendorong mereka untuk berkontribusi secara langsung dalam menjaga kebersihan sekolah dan sekitarnya. Dengan kegiatan ini, MAN 1 Malang terus menunjukkan komitmennya untuk menciptakan generasi muda yang peduli terhadap lingkungan dan kesehatan. (vira)
